Andrew Hatcher

Andrew is CEO of Yomp Limited, Director of Ideonics, Associate Director with SpokenWord Limited, Juice Associates and Investing for Good.

Andrew Hatcher was educated at Brighton College, at the City University in London and at the Cass Business School. He spent one year at Syracuse University in New York state on a scholarship and also attended a Summer School at Harvard University. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and is a non-executive director at the Cambridge Marketing College and at Interstate, a London-based brand agency.

Prior to his current role at Yomp Limited, Andrew Hatcher spent 15 years working at Reuters, the global information provider. He started as a technical journalist in London but moved through a range of disciplines including operations and project management, software development and product management before moving to the US into the financial products markets. He worked extensively with the corporate Venture Capital Group at Reuters and then founded an internal business creation division. This eventually resulted in a migration to Singapore to manage one of the spinouts, a company that was eventually sold.

On his return to the UK he established a small management consultancy practice offering advice and practical help to companies wishing to start up new businesses from within and in 2004 McGraw Hill published his first book "Inventuring" which tackles the subject of corporate venturing.
