David Freemantle

David Freemantle s one of the UK's leading experts on customer service, leadership and motivation and is the author of eight best-selling business books.

He has extensive experience in advising and helping companies in the consumer sector (airlines, retailers, hotels, and banks) on how to improve performance through improved customer relations and increased employee motivation to add real value to an organisation.

After gaining a Ph.D at London University Dr Freemantle began his career as a Production Manager at Mars Ltd. After a period with ICL he was headhunted to become Personnel Director of Perkins Engines before being invited to join the Board of British Caledonian Airways as Director of Personnel. In 1984 he set up his own business to help companies increase profitability by improving their approach to all aspects of customer service, employee motivation and strategic planning.

He has written eight business books that have been published in fourteen languages worldwide, including Superboss, The Successful Manager's Guide to Business Planing, Incredible Customer Service, 100 Days in the Life of a Superboss, What Customers Like About You (which was a finalist for the UK business book of the year in 1998).

David speaks at major conferences all over the world; he has spoken to diverse companies such as… The John Lewis Partnership, HSBC, Holiday Inn, Equitable Life, Bank Atlantic, Hallmark Cards and Singapore Airlines.
