David Kline is both a contributing writer for Wired magazine and a business correspondent for HotWired; his column, Market Forces, appears every other Monday in Signal.
A former war correspondent in Afghanistan and Ethiopia, Kline says his experience comes in handy when analyzing the emerging strategies and shifting battle lines of today's corporate wars over new media markets. This global contest is the subject of his book (coauthored with Daniel Burstein), Road Warriors: Dreams and Nightmares Along the Information Highway.
When he's not writing, gardening, or raising his son, Kline is also a business consultant to new media and technology firms.
