David Packard is currently chairman emeritus of Hewlett-Packard Company. A fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and member of the National Academy of Engineering and the Instrument Society of America, he also co-founded the American Electronics Association. David Packard is chairman of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Foundation and chairman and president of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute. He is a trustee of the Herbert Hoover Foundation, the American Enterprise Institute, and The Hoover Institution. He lives in Los Altos Hills, California.
