Günter Rommel is managing director of McKinsey's Tokyo office. Günter joined the firm's German office in 1980 and subsequently spent a year and a half in Tokyo. He holds degrees from the Technical Universities of Stuttgart and Munich in electrical engineering, business administration, economics and law, and obtained his PhD in investment planning. Günter is one of the authors of Simplicity Wins, published in 1995.
