Ingrid Tollgerdt-Andersson completed her PhD at the Stockholm School of Economics and Business Administration in 1989 with a dissertation on successful management in business.
The results showed great differences between managers in successful and unsuccessful companies in terms of attitudes, values and demands on leadership. The dissertation received a lot of media attention. Ingrid was employed at the Stockholm School of Economics and Business Administration until 1993 and then at the School of Economics and Management at the University of Lund but now works with commissioned research and consultation in her own company.
