Jack Phillips

Jack Phillips, Ph.D. is an internationally recognized authority on HR issues, including the ROI of Human Resource Development initiatives. Dr. Phillips is the CEO of Performance Resources Organization (PRO), the global leader in ROI accountability for human resource programs. Dr. Phillips has 27 years of corporate experience in the Aerospace, Textiles, Metals, Construction Materials, and Banking industries. He has served as a training and development manager at two Fortune 500 firms; senior HR officer at two firms; and president of a Regional Federal Savings Bank. Dr. Phillips has authored or edited more than 20 books, including HRD Trends Worldwide: Shared Solutions to Compete in a Global Economy (1999), Return on Investment in Training and Performance Improvement Programs (1997), and Accountability in Human Resource Management (1996). He is also the senior editor of ASTD's popular "In Action" series of case studies. Jack received his Master's degree in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University and his Ph.D. in Human Resource Management from the University of Alabama.
