Jens Elzenheimer studied industrial engineering at the Darmstadt University of Technology. After earning his Master's degree, he developed training programs for standard business software. In January 2000 he joined the Institute of Production Engineering and Machine Tools as a research associate. In addition to knowledge management, his work focuses on the management of global production networks and the effects and implications of mergers and acquisitions on production strategy.
