John Leslie Livingstone

Les Livingstone earned his MBA and Ph.D. degrees from Stanford University, with majors in accounting and economics. He is a CPA (licensed in New York and Texas) and a CVA (certified in business valuation). He is a qualified arbitrator, appointed to the American Arbitration Association panels on Large Commercial Disputes and Construction Disputes. Les has been a frequent speaker at litigation services seminars of the American Institute of CPA's, the Florida Institute of CPA's, and the Texas Society of CPA's.

He has substantial professional experience, including 5 years in corporate strategy consulting, 10 years in public accounting practice, and 12 years as a business school professor. He was a principal in The MAC Group, an international management consulting firm specializing in corporate strategy, with offices in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C., London, Paris, Munich, Rome and Tokyo. At MAC he served major corporate clients, and also the U.S. Postal Service, the SEC and HHS agencies of the Federal Government. MAC has since been acquired by Cap Gemini/Ernst & Young Consulting. Les has also been a partner in the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).

Previously, he was the Arthur Young Distinguished Professor of Accounting at Ohio State University, Fuller E. Callaway Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology, and Chairman of the Department of Accounting and Law at Babson College, Wellesley MA.
