Mr. McMillan is a Professor of International Management and Economics in Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. A specialist in economic theory, applied microeconomics, industrial organization, and international trade, Professor McMillan has authored four books and over seventy articles. His book Games, Strategies, and Managers published by Oxford University Press, applies game theory to business strategies and management decisions. Professor McMillan has worked as a consultant to firms and governments on resource allocation mechanisms, deregulation, contracting, and market structure.
He has a Ph.D. in economics, University of New South Wales, Australia, M.Com. in economics, University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and B.Sc. in mathematics, University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
