Associate Professor of Computer Science in the School of Computing of DePaul University in Chicago. Massimo has taught Object Oriented Programming, Foundations of Computer Science, Analysis and Design of Algorithms, Information Assurance, Secure Electronic Commerce, Network Programming, Parallel Algorithms, Scientific Computing, Monte Carlo Simulations and Web Frameworks. At DePaul he is the director of the MS in Computational Finance. Massimo is also the CEO of MetaCryption LLC. PhD in High Energy Physics from the University of Southampton in UK. Lead Developer and maintainer of web2py, the Algorithms Animator and FermiQCD. He also ported gchecky to the google app engine. Massimo is a reviewer for the American Mathematical Society and an Editor of Computing in Science and Engineering (ACM). Massimo has given many talks on different topics at conferences and universities, including talks at Chicago Python users group. He was an invited speaker at PyCon2008.
