Michel Dion is a Project Management Professional (PMP). He is the founder and developer of the website Project-Aria, a site dedicated to project management with a focus on achieving better results in a dynamic world. You can find various articles on project management, leadership, productivity, career and training, and also covering the mind and health of the project manager on his website. He has been active in various online project management communities since July 2012.
Michel has a diverse background. He is a professional accountant, CPA-CGA in Canada. He also has a certification in Internal Audit (CIA), Risk Management (CRMA), and Fraud (CFE). Michel has managed many projects in his career, including special initiatives and emergency projects. He lives in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, with his wife Valérie and two sons, Tristan and Mathias. He enjoys skiing with his family but easily admits to being more of a summer guy. As he says, there are no days too hot for him (even in the Caribbean).
Among other things, he also has interests in music (his first bachelor degree is in classical music), chess, fitness, travel, photography, and technology. He has loved technology since the moment he first played on the TRS-80. Despite that, his two sons insist that they know more about technology than him. He is also interested in languages, with the goal of mastering four languages. He is fluently bilingual (English and French) and is currently learning Spanish and Swedish.
Michel likes to learn and discover new things, and he has a passion for sharing his knowledge and coaching others, which has led him to develop his website, participate in numerous online groups and communities, and write books.
