Mikael Krogerus (born 1976 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a freelance writer for German and Swiss newspapers and magazines. He was previously working for the New York TV show Chat the Planet and after that spent five years as a staff writer with NZZ FOLIO, the supplement magazine of Switzerlands leading newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung. Prior to that he worked as a copywriter for various advertising agencies. He studied politics at the Freie Universität in Berlin and graduated from the Kaospilot School in Denmark. He’s a Finnish citizen and was brought up in Sweden and Germany.
