Paul Carroll

Paul Carroll is a Partner at DiamondCluster International and Editor-in-Chief of Context magazine, DiamondCluster's publication on how executives should conduct business in a world being transformed by information technology. Context has won numerous awards and was a finalist in the Spring of 2000 for a National Magazine Award for General Excellence, the magazine industry's highest honor.

Prior to joining DiamondCluster, Paul spent 17 years at The Wall Street Journal in a series of editing, reporting and managerial positions in the United States, Europe and Mexico. While in his position as Mexico City Bureau Chief, Paul was twice nominated for a Pulitzer Prize by the Wall Street Journal, and was a finalist for his coverage of the peso crisis in 1995. He also wrote a best-selling book, Big Blues: The Unmaking of IBM, published in the fall of 1993.

At the age of 19, Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Michigan State University. The following year, he earned his Master of Arts degree in journalism from Northwestern University. He has delivered numerous lectures throughout the Western Hemisphere on technology issues and currently is a featured speaker at DiamondCluster's Insight business seminars.
