Phil Hood

Phil has long been one of Silicon Valley's most thoughtful voices on the development and use of multimedia and pervasive computing technologies. He is the former executive editor of NewMedia Magazine, and a contributing columnist to Wired. As the former Chief Executive Officer of Digital 4Sight, he directed a series of multi-year research studies that explored the links between emerging technologies and business ethics and strategy. In 2004, Phil was involved in a major study of self-organization as a method of content creation and production.

He is the CEO of Enter Music Publishing and President Emeritus of the Music Magazine Publishers Association, an advisor to publishing companies, an engaging speaker, a partner with Alex Lowy in the Transcend Strategy Group and a senior consulting associate to Stanford Research International (SRI). Phil Hood lives in San Jose, California.
