Written before the independent auditor role was deemed necessary, they try to weasel themselves into the position that they may be independent while being auditors, but everyone they audit can't be deemed to have the same independence…

It is boringly written, in most factual parts theoretically correct (but would never happen in reality), but it made me have puking feelings. I wont read it again.
