Let's put it this way: this guy will never win a Pulitzer price. Still, it is a very interesting novel, that makes you think and ask for more. I understand why it has become a classic.
Word of advice, avoid the first edition and go for the second and revised one.
Oh, and don't try to use it as a reference. There are no table of contents, the chapters are just numbers and no Index exists…
