David Brandt

David Brandt offers over 27 years of experience in organizational and personal psychology. Acknowledged as a leading authority by U.S. News and World Report, he coaches executives and companies in maximizing individual performance, effective communication, conflict resolution, team construction, stress reduction, and change management. His speeches to national audiences have "inspired business and government to build cutting edge organizations with dynamic leadership and innovative thinking."

David is author of four acclaimed books. His Sacred Cows Make the Best Burgers (Warner) made Business Week's national bestseller list in its first month. His other works have been translated into many languages and his articles have been published in such popular magazines as Sports Illustrated and Cosmopolitan. He has appeared on national television programs including "The CBS Evening News," "CNN," and "The Oprah Winfrey Show." His original show, "Psychtalk," was aired on San Francisco public radio. Dr. Brandt's work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, and The San Francisco Chronicle. David is also co-author of the Change Ready Profile, a standardized test used by organizations to help employees assess and manage their responses to change.

David Brandt holds a bachelor's degree from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, MA from Columbia University and Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology where he was an NIMH fellow. He is a licensed psychologist. Prior to working in business, David directed two public health organizations and served on the faculty of The University of California Medical School in San Francisco.
